Hey, I'm Hana
My name is Hana, (pronounced like HA-NA)

I was born in Seoul, Korea,
and moved to California at the age of nine,
with an iRiver D5, a "multimedia e-dictionary" in my backpack.

Hoping to pass as someone who spoke the American language,
I would watch the same episode or a movie until I learned every line in English,
and try it out the next day when I went to school.
Sometimes I would pull from the wrong material and concern some adults.

I continued pursuing my passion for language and concerning adults.
I approach acting as though I am learning to speak a language.

California-shy (so... not shy)
with a Confucianist twist (I might bow goodbye).

I speak Korean and English fluently,
and Japanese conversationally.
I love learning languages whenever I get a chance;
I'm currently learning Spanish and Afrikaans
from my loved ones
